Educator & Guide
If her client is new to the art acquisition experience, Ms. Reed spends time with him or her to understand their aesthetics, interests, and focus. If her client is more experienced, Stefanie may use other approaches to begin the acquisition process together. Stefanie guides clients to find their collecting interests, completely steering the process from price research to insurance to installation. Thus, her client is free to truly focus on exploring the world of art.
Discerning Excellence
Ms. Reed’s exposure to fine art worldwide has cultivated her aesthetic tastes, which her clients rely on to guide their explorations and discover discerning works of cultural and historical significance. Drawing from her 18 years of experience leading the inception and development of the Art Basel show in Miami Beach, Ms. Reed works with the South Florida community of collectors, curators, museum directors, patrons, guests, and friends to create a valuable cultural experience that draws over 70,000 people each year. Ms. Reed received her B.A. in Art History from the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to establishing her advisory service, Ms. Reed was a Regional Director for Sotheby’s, founding their Miami office and was Assistant Vice President at Citibank’s Art Advisory Service in the Private Banking Group. Her museum work experience includes the Philadelphia Museum of Art and the Whitney Museum of Art in New York.
